The nominal 24 × 48 in. deck gives longer loads more support than a 24 × 36 in. platform while remaining narrow enough for many facility routes. Vestil rates this model for a 1,600 lb uniform static load.

The deck uses nominal 1 in. hardwood with countersunk fasteners to keep the loading surface clear. A removable steel push handle is bolted to the truck. Two rigid and two swivel 6 × 2 in. mold-on-rubber casters provide a combination of tracking and maneuverability. The truck arrives with the hardwood platform, removable handle and caster set; review the current manufacturer drawing, inspect the shipment and complete any required setup before placing it into service.

Deck height: 9-1/4 in.

VHPT-2448 questions

What should I measure? Check the actual 24 × 48 in. deck against the load, then use the full assembled dimensions for doors, turns and storage.

Can the handle be removed? Yes.
